Over at Hit & Run David Weigel debunks Michelle Malkin’s attempt to attack Ron Paul as someone who thinks that 9/11 was an inside job.
Finally in a third update Weigel gets to key point:
As the thread continues to grow, probably worth pointing out that Paul has already named the culprits behind the 9/11 attacks. He did so at the GOP debate.
Have you ever read the reasons they attacked us? They attack us because we’ve been over there; we’ve been bombing Iraq for 10 years.
In other words, Al Qaeda did it. Osama bin Laden did it. Paul’s view is incompatible with the idea that “9/11 was a self-inflicted wound” or the towers came down in controlled demolitions.
Maybe someone should remind Malkin that she only felt the need to smear Paul in the first place was Paul’s statement that a decade of bad Middle East policy created the climate that led Al Qaeda to attack us. That statement precludes Ron Paul from believing that 9-11 was an inside job.
Hopefully, this particular smear has run its course.

AMEN!.
FOX owes Ron Paul and America an apology.
What does it say about a society when the use of nuclear weapons is considered acceptable in offensive wars?
Would it not be the same as warcrimes.
Imagine killing up to maybe a million innocent people and polluting an entire continnent for decades to come. How can this be any benefit for the realitionship between you and the muslim community.
Its as if some people dont understand the horror of war.
Have the persons who belive war is the solution for all the worlds problem been to war themselves and seen people been destroyed by bombs.
The worst thing I think is the lack of respect for human lives.
What would you tell your children in 30 years from now. “We had to take the lives of millions because of no reason at all”.
