… of the Amit Singh vs. Mark Ellmore Republican primary HERE.
Updates:
[Patrick @ 8:56] Better results here.
[Patrick @ 9:08]: It doesn’t look good for Singh: Arlington (where Singh won by 6 percent) is 100 percent in and Fairfax (where Ellmore is winning by 28 percent) is only 60 percent in. The Falls Church and Alexandria sections of the district are also going for Ellmore.
[Patrick @ 9:14]: Sadly I think you can call this for Ellmore. Hopefully after Ellmore gets demolished by Moran in November, Singh will run again in 2010. Given that Singh grabbed 45 percent of the vote with just a rushed three month campaign, I see no reason why he can’t do much better next time with full length campaign.
[Patrick @ 9:20]: I should note that as the results came in, a dark cloud descended over Arlington, followed shortly by lightning, thunder and a torrential storm… no really!

45% is a respectable tally. He’ll win handily next time, with 2 years to prepare for it.
That is rather interesting about the torrential storm as the results came in.
